We investigated the views of Gold Coast residents and others involved in or concerned about nature conservation.
We collected information on people’s awareness, attitudes, perceptions, concerns, needs, involvement and activities related to nature conservation communication.
We used this baseline data to develop the first 4 steps of a communication strategy for the council’s nature conservation strategy and to evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities.
The outcome: Baseline data and recommendations for strategic communication of the council’s Nature Conservation Strategy.
