Training communicators in gender-responsive storytelling for the media

In 2023 and 2024, Econnect Communication trained 45 science communicators on how to tell mainstream media stories about agricultural solutions that work for women.

We conducted the training online for the participants (with a face-to-face component for our second cohort), who hailed from 15 countries: Kenya, Nigeria, India, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mexico, Tanzania, Pakistan, Indonesia, Zambia, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Egypt and Uganda.
