We are infinitely flexible! We can sit down with you to plan one-off workshops designed specifically to meet the needs of your group. The workshop can be anything from a half-day advanced media course for your CEO, to an interactive 90-minute workshop for 300 people at a scientific conference. It is designed to improve your skills in:
Do you want to lift your general communication skills? A popular workshop combines the main elements of our Talking science with the media and Presenting science workshops. This workshop is particularly suited to you if you are a student, or a researcher involved in collaborative projects. It generally runs over two days and can include a session on basic writing skills. View a sample outline of the 2-day workshop. We run our workshops all across Australia. Workshops are normally run on a request only basis. Prices are fully inclusive of all costs, regardless of location. We ask that your organisation arrange the venue and catering, and participant numbers. We are happy to negotiate prices for adapting workshop content/procedures. Discounts can be negotiated if more than one workshop is run at the same location. Contact us to discuss your needs. The following cost is for a typical 2-day workshop: one day on presentation skills, one day on media skills. If you'd like something different, please call us.

Deposit On confirmation of your booking for a 2-day communication skills workshop, you will need to pay a deposit of $3300 (incl GST). Should you cancel the workshop, we will refund your deposit, minus an administration fee of 10% of the total workshop cost. If we have
already incurred non-refundable costs, for example for flights and
accommodation, we will also deduct these costs from your deposit.
