Workshops We have designed our workshops for people who:
How long does a workshop take? Can I have a workshop tailored to my needs?
How long does a workshop take? One or two days.
The 2-day workshop gives you more
time to develop and practise your skills. Can I have a workshop tailored to my needs? Yes! We can combine or restructure our workshops to meet the needs of your group.
For example, we can combine elements of
Talking science with the media,
Presenting science, and
Engaging the public with science workshops into a customised workshop
for you. We have been running communication skills workshops across Australia for more than 15 years, with consistently positive feedback.
All our workshop presenters work in close daily contact with scientists,
researchers and journalists.
Our participants come from Cooperative Research Centres, R&D corporations, CSIRO, non-government organisations, universities, industry and government departments. Here are some comments about our workshops from managers, group leaders and participants: “The trainers were very familiar with R&D and CSIRO by direct experience and the journalists were 'locals' and very familiar with our 'stories'. A very useful, challenging, rewarding and enjoyable day.” Allen Kearns
“This course was highly beneficial in two important ways: 1. Brushing up on my media skills & getting back to basics & 2. Helping GRDC researchers increase their understanding of the media & how it can assist in communicating messages & how they can use me more effectively in GRDC. Toss & Jenni are always professional, insightful & informative.” Kylie Paulsen Contact us today about running a workshop for your group.
