Where are Brisbane workshops being held?

All Brisbane workshops will be held at The EcoSciences Precinct (ESP), 41 Boggo Road, Dutton Park.

The ESP is conveniently located 100 metres from the Boggo Road Busway and Park Road Railway Station. There is a walkway from these public transport hubs to the EcoSciences Precinct. Up to date bus and train timetables can be found at Translink or by calling 13 12 30. Bus Numbers 109, 169 and 209 stop at the Boggo Road Busway. The Gold Coast/Airport, Beenleigh/Ferny Grove and Cleveland lines all stop at the Park Road Railway Station.

There is limited parking in side streets around the venue, but only 2 hour parking.


What do I do when I arrive at the ESP?

Report to the front security desk to sign in.  You will be given a visitor badge.  Please wear this during your time on site and return it to security at the end of the day.

 


How many people will be in the workshop?

A maximum of 16, to allow all participants to be interviewed by journalists and practice techniques taught in the workshop.

 


Will there be refreshments provided?

Yes. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.

 


When will I receive my deposit back?

A few days after attending the workshop. If you do not attend the workshop, your deposit will be withheld.

 


What is the refund policy?

If you cancel more than 2 weeks before the workshop date, your deposit will be returned.

If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the workshop date, you lose your deposit unless you can find someone to take your place, or the organisers can find a replacement for you from the waiting list.
